Extra-Curricular and Clubs
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing children with the best possible education, we are proud to provide them with a range of extra-curricular activities including trips, visitors and clubs. We also host holiday activity clubs that are open to the community beyond Pennington Infant School.
After-School Sports Clubs
We are delighted to be able to offer a range of after-school clubs four days a week run by the lovely team at Superstar Sports. Clubs are one hour long starting at 3:15pm - 4:15pm with a cost of just £1 per child, per club, per session. Fees are payable per half term via Scopay.
Monday - Multi-Sports
Tuesday - Gymnastics
Wednesday - Dance & Drama
Thursday - Football
The children love participating in these clubs and are always enthusiastic about the sessions. We celebrate success as part of our Friday Celebration Assembly and the children have opportunities to participate in inter-school competitions as part of the Priestlands Sports Partnership.
If you would like your child to join any of our After School Sports Clubs please express their interest via the below link. Mrs Russell, who oversees the sports clubs, will confirm your child's place via email, or if the club is full she will add your child's name to the waitlist.

After-School Art and Gardening Clubs
We are delighted to be introduce 2 new after school clubs to the Infant school, Art and Gardening. Both clubs will join the Junior school children and will be run by members of school staff.
Tuesday - Art club
Wednesday - Gardening club
Pick up is from Pennington Juniors at 4:30pm.
If you would like your child to join either club, please find the sign up form link here, along with further information about both clubs. As both clubs have limited space, places will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

Year 2 - Activities Club at Pennington Juniors
All children in Hedgehogs class are welcome to join the Friday night activities club at Pennington Junior school.
Year Two Summer Term Swimming
As part of our PE curriculum, our Year 2 children are invited to attend a six week swimming block at Lymington Leisure Centre, based on the Priestlands Campus. This is offered at a reasonable rate with parents able to opt in or out of the sessions. Each week the children work on their water confidence and swimming technique in tailored activities based on their ability.
