Wraparound Care at Pennington Infants

At Pennington Infant School, we know that a positive start to the day greatly impacts a child's development. Our team of friendly staff are available to support families with before and after school support. Our Early Birds and Night Owls team are school employed staff who operate a breakfast and afterschool provision. The staff support the children in a range of activities including arts and crafts, roleplay, small world and outdoor activities. We offer an Early Bird Club every school morning from 8am and Night Owl Club after school Monday to Thursday. Our Night Owls runs until 5:15pm with an option to pay a reduced rate for collection prior to 4:30pm. 

For breakfast, a member of staff will greet your child at The Woodlands Room door and offer a light breakfast such as cereal or toast. We kindly request that your child arrives at Early Birds no later than 8:15am if they require food as this enables enough time for them to enjoy it before heading off to class. Once children have eaten, they will then enjoy time with their peers before heading off to their class ready for the start of their school day.

After school, a member of staff will greet your child at The Woodlands Room where they can choose a light snack and unwind with their peers. If your child attends a sports club, they are escorted through school to Night Owls once this sports club has finished. 

If you have any childcare requirements or need support regarding Pennington Village Pre-School children or those attending the Junior School, please contact the school office. 

Bookings

All bookings must be made in advance and we kindly request that you complete the Google booking request forms. Please note, that bookings need to be made and paid for in advance and we cannot accept children on the door due to a limited number of places.

However, do get in touch if your circumstances change or you need additional support either long or short term. In addition, if you are unable to complete the Google Form, please get in touch with Mrs Russell in the school office. 

Fees and Payments

We strive to be a cashless school and accept online payments at www.scopay.com/penningtoninf-hants. Please note, childcare vouchers can be used to subsidise these sessions. All fees are to be paid in advance to secure the booking.

Early Bird

8am-8.50am = £2.50

Night Owls

collection before 4.30pm = £5.50

collection after 4:30pm = £8.50
